The Model Rules of our newly formed Community Benefit Society provide for a Management Committee with up to twelve members. This was duly constituted and the first meeting was on 20 April. There is now a page for the committee meetings, where the minutes of the first meeting can already be found.
The steering group met for the last time on Monday 13 April. Since we are now incorporated as a Community Benefit Society we have to elect a management committee to carry the project forward. That’s 28th March, folks, not 28th February, we do not yet have the power to travel back in time. In any case, we are seriously looking to the future, especially now that the Farlam Parish Trust has granted us enough money to start the bidding process to buy the shop.
