THE SHOP
The shop is well-stocked with all the store cupboard staples, chilled/frozen goods and fresh produce – locally sourced where possible – to feed all the family and to suit all pockets.
There are many supermarket brands as well as local artisan products and a good range of whole, organic, Free From foods and Fairtrade foods. Our range of craft beers makes good use of local breweries such as Muckle Brewing . Daily newspapers and weekly magazines can be ordered.
New lines are being added all the time. If we don’t have what you’re after, let us know and we’ll do our best to get it for you.
ORDERS
You can telephone your order for collection the same day or place a regular order.
If you’re visiting the area, call in advance and we’ll put up a box for you to collect on your way to your accommodation.
POST OFFICE
The Post Office visits weekly and offers the full suite of postal services including postage, banking, cashback, paying bills, vehicle licensing and more. Thursdays 9.30-11.30 am
BOOK SWAP
We have pre-loved book swap where you are welcome to help yourself to books, or keep them for a small donation.
MULTI USE SPACE
Our space can be rented for small events and workshops. Come and take a look at what we can do or contact us to find out more.
The Café
A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere awaits you in our bright, and sunny café area. We offer a full range of Barista coffees with a tempting selection of cakes, scones and traybakes prepared inhouse by our talented volunteer bakers. A delicious range of seasonal soups made with fresh ingredients locally sourced where possible served with a cheese scone or pitta bread. Gluten and dairy free diets are usually available.
Walkers and cyclists are welcome. The café is wheelchair accessible, dog friendly and has Wifi. A water refill service is available.
