Things to see and do
Whether you are interested in walking, cycling, history or industrial archaeology – or just want a quiet break away from it all – Hallbankgate has it all.
Walking
With its many meandering footpaths littered with the remnants of industry and high moorland fells rich with birdlife, Hallbankgate and the surrounding area has much to offer the walker. Read more here.
Cycling
The Hub is well positioned for circular routes and we regularly have cyclists from Keswick, Annan, Langholme, Prudhoe and beyond dropping in for a cuppa and cake to fuel up for the final leg of their journey. If you’re cycling in a group, call in advance.
The quiet undulating country lanes around Farlam parish are perfect for a leisurely recreational cycle.
