Alan McViety, current High Sheriff of Cumbria, and his wife came to the preview night of ‘Shadowlands’ by Peter Robson. They are keen art enthusiasts and loved Peter’s work especially his painting of Ouseburn which will soon be hanging on their walls. It was their first visit to the Hub and they were genuinely surprised by the range of stock and the amenities on offer. They said they appreciated the role the Hub plays in keeping the community together and commended the Manager, staff and volunteers for all their work. We look forward to welcoming them again as regular visitors.
